Our people: internal knowledge sharing drawing on 23 years of collective experience

We believe that for our people to be able to transform the lives of others, we need to provide them with an environment in which all of the knowledge and information they need is available at their fingertips.

Our internal knowledge sharing tools mean our people do not waste time reinventing the wheel. They are part of a learning community which keeps them continuously interested and motivated. Our people love developing, creating, and innovating – they are part of a vibrant community of learners bound by a real sense of purpose.

Our intranet, IngeusNet, is a central repository for best practice information, accessible to everyone in the organisation. It enables our advisors to have immediate access to information including case management, service contracts, service delivery models, client workshops, community resources, effective job search techniques, example CVs and application letters, local labour market trends, employer information, and job vacancies. It also provides online collaboration tools which enable our people to interact, share ideas, discuss and problem solve, learn from each other and run virtual project teams; regardless of whether they are located in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, Australia, Poland or Saudi Arabia.

We provide our people with state-of-the-art labour market information which enables them, at a glance, to access localised information about the population, economy, industry movements, job vacancies, and benefits. This includes information about industries that are employing people, the number and types of jobs available, and information about large employers.

We encourage our people to join online and virtual communities of practice on topics as diverse as employer engagement, quality, partnerships and policy, positive psychology and engaging clients through group activity. IngeusNet enables them to conduct discussion forums on key points of interest, consult with the broader organisation, and call for ideas from our global network.
